Try not to Cram
Studying like crazy the night before an exam can leave you feeling exhausted and more stressed out than before. Studying in small doses several days before the big test may help you feel more relaxed and prepared.
Physical activity before the test may help reduce body tension. Take a brisk walk or jog, do something you enjoy the night before your exam.
Lack of sleep may cause you to feel cranky & tired on the day of the exam. It may add to your stress and anxiety level. Try to go to bed early the night before the exam and get a good night's rest.
Healthy Food for a Healthy Brain
Blood sugar is at its lowest in the morning. In order to think and problem-solve effectively your body needs healthy food. Eat a nutritious breakfast on the morning of the exam. In a rush? Grab some fruit, toast and peanut butter and a tall glass of milk before heading out the door. Try not to go to your exam on an empty stomach.
Don't be late!
Be on time for your test and be sure you bring the right supplies. This will decrease your anxiety and help you relax and prepare for the task at hand.
